hey guys!
i recently bought a 1080 from eBay under the condition it was broken, the seller stated that the water cooling had leaked causing damage to the pcie slot.
does anyone know a possiable fix for this a s i would love a 1080 gpu to add to my pc!

Solution
It looks to be on the power portion of the pcie lane.

You may be able to clean off the pcie connector and check for damage under the heatsync.

the damage was done to the pcie slot on the mobo or pcie power connector on the actual card?
i am assuming that the card may have shorted or the mobo it was plugged into was.

there isnt really a way to tell if it works or not until you plug it in a try it out. have you got a separate system to try this card in?
