I have a WD5000AAKS-00WWPAO fitted, but when I look at the drive properties in My Computer it reports that the drive is only 60GB, and almost full. The PC is a Dell Dimension 5150 bought from Dell

Go into disk management (create / modify partitions) and see what it says. Perhaps you are looking at a 60 GB partition on the drive.

And what does the BIOS indicate?
