Weird prob... A64 and mobo

Yeah soooo... After a little bit of time, something goes wrong with something on my mobo, and I only get 1 frame per second in normal windows use. Its like something shuts down or something... I have to restart and everything is fine until this weirdness comes back again...

a64 3000, chaintech nforce3, ocz pc3200 ram

have you checked for spyware or adware. That sounds like a symptom of some program running and progressively taking all your memory. Like some sort of logger which would explain why it doesn't do it when it is just booted but does as it continues to run.

no i just did fresh install and only downloaded 3dmark03 and it does it in that. everything is fine and fast and at some point it will go to 1 frame every 10 or 15 seconds, weird...

Prime95 got an error 1 minute in, while another time it ran for 5 minutes before i stopped it.

Im at a loss imo.

CPU is overclocked with voltage increase but ram is at rated speed of 200/400.
