The sub-section you posted your thread in is usually full of well-versed posters so I'm sure you will find an answer soon. They might find it useful to know the ambient temprtature of the room you work in. It's probably not a problem in The Netherlands but they won't know where you're from.

Which make of thermal compound did you use?

How much do you intend to spend on that project? Please include in that the huge electricity bill you'll be facing to run your build.

I'm SpellKaster4. I'm a tech junkie but I definitely don't know everything so I'm ready to learn and have fun. The computer I have now is my first real computer that I've own and I built it myself, pretty proud of that. I named her Madness cause I went way overboard on everything with her. I'm mainly a gamer but I also make videos. All in all I'm just a big freaking nerd lol.

I'm Joshua. I've been fixing Macs since 2001. (I'm also a musician.) I'm joining, finally, for one reason, which is this thread:

It's a closed thread, but I wanted to add the valuable insight that sometimes beeps are neither RAM nor motherboard, but just Apple's way of locking out an OS older than what a Mac came wtih. Start from the right point-version (e.g. 10.6.6 instead of 10.6.3) and the beeps vanish, in this case.

It could well be this info would save someone hundreds of bucks and a lot of grief.
