I just got some pre-slotta Amazon miniatures as well, it seems a
mordheim lustria campaign is still an attractive option for further
planning with the new wfb campaign gw is going to do.

I wanted to do something different. I have seen too many Scar-veterans
with the magic shield.

>No spear-Saurus?
No, one will be upgraded with some Magic Banner to have an extra move
and the sign of sotek as soon as there are 24 in each unit. The second
unit will probably get the sign for extra armour, which makes
handweapon/shield a very good equipment choice as well.

One of the Saurus units might be a elite choice soon. This army would
have even more units if I coould split the skirmishers into units of 5
skinks each. Skaven armies with lots of nightrunners should have even
more core choices.
>Monsters and/or cavalry are always nice for variety.
I do not like the saurus cavalry miniatures, but I might include some
croxigors/troglodytes as well as a slann priest and a stegadon
(probably a converted triceratops).
