Hey, I removed my HDD in my laptop a while back and never got around to put in a new SSD. So now when I open it up I see that the connector is pointing upwards, I've been googling but cant find anything. I need some kind of 45 degree adaptor to SSD, what is it called?

Thanks a ton /David

Do you still have the HDD?
Likely there is a removable connector/adapter still on that drive, which will interface between the normal SATA and that thing on the laptop motherboard.

The HDD with the connector/adapter is long gone, I cant seem to figure out what it is called and where to buy it

No, that is not what you need.

What you're looking for is a very small thing. Basically a solid block, with regular SATA connections on one side for the drive, and whatever pins are needed to connect to that block you see on the laptop motherboard.
