hey you all
i just wanted to ask what are bits in the monitors exactly?! when i check spec of some, i see for example 8 bits and etc...
and by the way i want to buy one of these: S22R350 or F24T350
which one do you prefer?!
one of them is 8 bits and the other one is (6 bits + FRC) what's FRC tho?!
my main activity is editing but I do a lit bit gaming too.
"core i5 9400f, GTX 1060 6gb, 16 GB ram"

8bit color means 256 possible shades for every base color making for 16.7M possible different colors.
It's what was used to be known as 24bit color.
Now there is 10bit color depth as well and if you are doing any professional editing where getting color right is important you should aim for higher.

FRC is probably frame rate control
where they fake true color by changing the color between frames so that your brain merges them into a different color.

Solution
The short answer:
More bits per channel mean more colors that can be reproduced by the monitor.

8 bpc = 16 million colors.
10 bpc = 1.07 billion colors.

FRC is a dithering technique that is being used to trick our eyes by supplying artificially the missing colors.

8-bit + FRC (“10-bit”) is better than 8-bit. But true 10-bit is best.

I wouldn’t choose a monitor with less than 8-bit (8 bits per channel) color depth.

Regarding the 2 monitors you’ve mentioned, I’d choose another monitor with a higher resolution, at least QHD (1440p).
But that’s just my opinion.
