What Ethernet Cable Should I Buy? (Gaming PC)

I am looking for a ethernet cable from amazon.ca and I dont know what a good one is, are they all the same but just different colors? I want to get a CAT5E and a RJ45 because I have heard those are the best. (and It has to be 50ft)

I have been looking at this one but are there any other better ones that are cheap.

Ok I think I will get that one just needed someones opinion.

Btw whats the difference between the more expensive ones even if they have cat5e and rj45??

From what I can tell they both meet standards and are electrically identical, this is common in bulk items like this, some are just a lot cheaper and of equal quality since they must adhere to a standard.

One more question are you able to hook up a ethernet cable to my router? It has the spots open but when I logged into the router management thing..There are two things.

WAN DSL which says connected

Then there is WAN Ethernet which says its down.. does that mean that I cant use ethernet for my new pc?

Please help me Im so very confused.... 😱

You hook them to LAN ports not to the WAN port. Your router has the ability to connect to DSL as well as other internet connections that use ethernet cables for wan...like a connection to a cable modem.
