Question What is my computer doing and how do I fix it?

Hey so recently I have been having a problem where when ever I try to power on my computer nothing happens. I hit the power button and 15-20 mins later, sometimes longer, it will boot and just flicker on and off like cray. I don’t think it’s the power supply. I wouldn't rule out the power supply or a bad connection.

Corsair 16x2 2133hz
Gigabyte 2070
B350 pc mate mobo
The psu is a 700w be quiet 80+ gold.

If it's a bad connection....connections can take time to heat up and expand and become bad connections.

You can also have a bad connection in the PSU itself that becomes bad when it heats up.

I have check basically every connection and made sure they are all pushed in. Still no go.

Yeah I had a Corsair 550 in it the replaced it with the be quiet one.

Same thing with both psu's, did you try a bios reset? Unplug all drives and try to post?

check cpu temp? hdd or ssd?

Try a clear cmos as suggested.

Everything is cool to the touch.

Yeah tried that just then, still didn’t turn on.

bit of an update, once I hit the power button it takes like 30 mins for the computer to start flickering.
But once it’s on I can reset at a normal speed. And even shut it down and power it back on at a normal speed.

also sometimes it will be powered on and then just die. Are turn back on again.

You only switch off via windows or unplug the pc from the wall? Or flip the switch on the psu ....

Replace the motherboard battery, see if it helps. Migth be motherboard issue.
