Hey Guys,

I’m building a new PC and I was trying to find the best ram for a decent price. My price range is 180 or less. I’m looking for 2 sticks at 16 gb each.

Right now I was thinking Corsair RGB 3200 or 3600. However I noticed that the higher the clock speed it doesn’t always make it a better choice. Any suggestions on which one would be better? If you have any other ram choices I should consider that would be great thanks!

P.S. I Liked RGB corsair because it would match the other corsair products I would have in my build. I would like them to be at least a little bit aesthetically pleasing.

My build:

Using a GTX 1060 but going to be upgrading in the future to a 2080 or 3080 when i can afford it

Thanks for the help! I do think that that one would be much better but if i could save money I think I should haha. What do you think is better between the two corsair options i listed?
While there is a performance jump using a high speed ram but honestly not by that much that its worth ,especially with Intel so saving some bucks and getting 3200Mhz Cl16 ram is not at all a bad idea. The reason i selected the RAM i have is because you had a budget upto $180 but were confused with one faster ram and other slower but with RGB so i selected the one which gives you both:)

Hello there!
Check the list i have replaced it with 3600 CL16 instead if CL18 the particular ram has higher frequency, lower latency, fits your budget and moreover has RGB.
