Hello all,

I own a Z390 Godlike motherboard but I dont know what is the point of this 6-pin power connector in the picture below. What exactly does it power? The GPU? The CPU? The whole motherboard?

I have noticed no difference at all in performance after plugging a power connector in that slot. Should I just leave it unplugged in case its drawing unnecessary electricity from my wall?

Supplemental PCIe slot power. Ensures that the power going to multiple video cards from the PCIe slot doesn't droop.
