Question What kind of Display adapter do I need?

So I have two monitors. The primary one is connected via HDMI. The secondary monitor (not connected yet) only allows HDMI and VGA. I can't use HDMI on the secondary monitor because my GPU (GTX 1050) only has 1 HDMI slot.

But I also can't use the VGA connection as the GPU also doesn't have a VGA input. I want to get an adapter but it's not really my strong area and I don't want to get the wrong one.

The GTX 1050 (non Ti version) supports: 1 HDMI, 1 Display port 1.4 and Dual Link DVI.

A link would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry I made it quite confusing. The monitor that needs connecting can only be connected via a VGA cable. So I would need some form of x to VGA adapter. But with all this male and female adaptors I'm not sure which one to get.

Even simpler: GPU supports DVI and Display port 1.4. Monitor supports VGA.

Might be simpler to just provide the monitor models.

If you have HDMI, DP, and DVI. 10 series cards no longer support analog output via DVI, so it would need to be an active adapter to do VGA regardless.

The most common (cheapest) is HDMI to VGA, so you might switch your other monitor to a DP to HDMI cable to make it easier.
