I want to buy SSD for my laptop (MSI gl62m 7rd).

it supports both m2 sata, m2 nvme pcie 3.

But what kind of ssd should i buy ?
I want to use my laptop for gaming, coding and also rendering

Some post said that using nvme for laptop can cause overheating.

Should i still buy nvme ? or should i buy ssd sata 2,5 ?

Solution
Performancewise, in that use you'd see zero difference.

If all NVMe in laptops were overheating, they wouldn't have them in laptops.

It depends on the specific drive and laptop cooling situation.

Only thing that comes to mind is that in a SATA SSD (if you put a regular one with 2.5" enclosure in the HDD space) the PBC and other parts are in an enclosure which slightly shields the drive itself from the heat in the laptop (which being a gaming one can get somehow hot) and also stop some of the heat generated by the drive from dissipating into the laptop enclosure.

Mind you all this specially heat made by the drive is kind of marginal.

Take your pick.
Both types will have similar performance.
Technically, the better sequential benchmarks of the pcie devices looks good.
But, most of what we do is random and there is little difference in actual use between a 2.5" sata ssd and a pcie m.2.
Prices per gb of capacity are not much different.
I would pick the m.2 pcie ssd, if for no other reason is that it is lighter,

I would not worry about heat on a m.2 device. Heat goes up during prolonged sequential operations. 30 seconds or more. Think, perhaps of a virus scan.
But, if the device gets too hot, it simply slows down a bit until the situation resolves itself.

If anything, look to the ssd quality. Samsung units appear to be more reliable according to Puget systems:
