What MOBO for a FX-60

I'm a serious DFI user myself. I love em because they're rock solid, OC awesome and have never let me down.

I would spring for this one myself ...

Are you running 1 or 2 Vid cards?

Well, IMO, you really don't gain a whole lot running SLI. I got the DFI Expert board because it has a ton of BIOS options I wanted for overclocking. I do have another 7800GT and might throw it in there just to see what the differences are though.

wow... no one opinion...

Lots of opinions... thats a good sign...

ok how about this question...

What Mobo along with the FX-60 will get the best bench marks?

I notice Tom's test machines when testing out Vid cards are all FX-57 with Asus A8N mobo's

That would be DFI my friend. They have the capability to overclock higher and generally have higher throughput.

Its your call though. IMO, you wouldn't suffer at all with any of the boards listed. I just happen to use and endorse DFI cause that's all I've ever really used. I do have an Epox board here along with an Abit board oh and Gigabyte too.

I still prefer the DFI

the a8n deluxe came out with a lot of issues maybe because of an early release.. anyways Im using the A8n premium and is great for gaming and overall use... runs very stable and is asus!

the Dfi mobos are very good as well... I wouldnt go with msi for a 939 socket they seem to be somewhat buggy! that's just my .02 $

How about this one?

That's the board I have. Its a very good board but, I usually don't recommend it to anyone who has never really overclocked before. This board can be tricky to get setup and its picky about the hardware you use with it. Its really an enthusiast board made for those who want it all. If your up for it, get it.

Otherwise, go for the first board I showed you. Its easier to setup.

Yeah, I will drop it in there one of these days. Right now, its new and i'm having so much fun with it. I've already got max frame rates on WOW and pretty much on COH/COV so, it definately won't improve much there.

Im going with the first then...

I hope im not being a pest bro, I really apreciate your help.

But 2 more questions to go along with this MOBO..

Im getting the X1900XTX, have you seen any side by side comparisons between ASUS and ATI?

Also what Memory would you get that works with this MOBO?

Im looking for best out there so price shouldnt be a factor in your choices.

Thanks :)
