which settings do I need to tweak here for PBO enhacment or enabled?

and do I need to enable this "medium load boostit" thingy?

I have arctic FREEZER III 360 AIO ARBG cpu cooler

Hey there,

What are your full PC specs? You do realise that 4.9ghz is effectively 5ghz. There is hardly any difference in performance that you can notice.

Anyway, you can try these changes.

Change PBO (Precision Boost Overdie) to Enabled.
Change Precision Boost Scaler to Manual, and set it at 10x.
Change CPU Boost clock override to 100 (Just type 100 into this field.

Save and reboot. Test the CPU for instability. If the PC fails to restart then you will have to clear CMOS to get back into the bios.

Note: You really need to look into overclocking/undervolting and learn the benefits and cons of both. Just diving in with the wrong settings won't make life easy.

this is my full build : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DkM7KX

yea but it sits around 4600 - 4850mhz when playing intensive games
is enabling pbo enough?

Yes, it is. But you have to try it to test yourself. I can't test for you :)

But again, I would reiterate, your CPU is literally the best gaming CPU out there. 100mhz makes no difference at the pre rendered frame rates your CPU is capable of pushing to your GPU.

Anyway, give it a go, and see how it works.

Okay, but keep in mind, the X3D parts run hotter because of the way the extra cache is built on top. The way both Intel and AMD chips work is using an algorithm to determine the best clock speeds, depending on the overhead available. So there's not much to be gained from taking off limits.

Either way, you need to research and familiarise yourself with what you are doing.
