What should I set my file paging to?

Hi I have windows ultimate 64bit with 12gbs of ram, 600gb hdd, i7 980x procssor and a sapphire radeon hd 5970 4gb video card. my question is what should I set my file paging at for the best I can set it at? thank you very much

I have 8 GB of ram and have my paging file set to 5 GB. It rarely gets used.

I had it at 500000 then I read online I shouldnt have it that high ? I'm not sure

Usually the same or half the size of your RAM is fine.

I also have 12GB ram and set both my max and min to the min allowed, which is 16MB. And it run fine. Increase it only if some game/program said it run out of virtual space or something.

50000MB is too much, 5000MB is right.

I have 32GB and there's no frigging way I allow Windows to suck-up that much especially on my SSD (this file can be moved). I set the Page File the same on my X58 with 3x4GB (12GB).

I manually set mine to 2GB, and it's best not to Disable. 2GB = 1024*2 = 2048MB (min and max). No issues.
