I bought a new motherboard to upgrade my setup, it was working fine yesterday, the setup was working fine yesterday but today when i woke up, I decided to boot up my PC then I encountered a big issue where my PC randomly shuts down over and over again. I surfed through the web to find possible fix, here are the troubleshooting I have done:

• I flushed the power and unplugged Cmos Battery for 10 mins
• Reseated the RAM to different seaters
• Reseated the GPU
• Reseated the CPU and re-thermal

I have tried troubleshooting everything one at a time, and altogether at a time yet there is still no signs of fix

As I observed the motherboard before it completely shut down, the CPU light in EzDebug is lit off red.

So I have tried again reseating the CPU and cleaning, and applying thermal paste once more, yet the problem still persists. I exhausted all the troubleshooting steps that are available but nothing is working. So I'm guessing it has something to do with the EzDebug CPU light. I wonder what could have been the problem. I have no one, or a friend who has a PC to test my components so I'm trying to find a light here.

My Specs

Ryzen 5 5600x
Msi Mag B550M Mortar Max Wifi
Sapphire Nitro+ Rx 580 8gb
Kingston Fury 16gb 3200mhz
Corsair TX650M
Kingspec 240gb SATA-III

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Drop the processor onto a known working motherboard, with the right BIOS version and see if the issue persists. If the issue persists, then your processor is dead.

Something you could try prior to dropping the processor onto another board is to try and reflash your BIOS by following this guide;

and see if you can revive your build.

was it purchased new?

make sure the BIOS is up to date.

do you still have the previous board?
if so, make sure to test with it again to verify the CPU is still functioning properly.

Kingston Fury 16gb 3200mhz

Reseated the RAM to different seaters
is this a single 2x module kit
or 2 separate single module kits combined?

make sure the RAM is listed in the motherboard manufacturer's QVL on the product support pages.

make sure a dual channel kit is seated in DIMM slots A_2 & B_2.

I follow the tutorial and I was hopeless that this will will work though I found no latest update for my BIOS , I still tried to install that same BIOS version to my motherboard and I'm glad that it runs my PC again! Thanks so much!
