[SOLVED] What would be a good upgrade from a RX 580 OC 8GB?

Its been almost a year with this card and its done be well I must say. Ill post my full specs down below but right now imma just ask the questions.

So basically I'm just looking to upgrade the card. So my questions to you good people would be: Whats a low-budget, mid-budget, and high-budget upgrade for my MSI RX580 8GB OC? If I do get a new card thanks to you guys and gals, should I sell my old one and if so, where? Im like less than a newbie in graphics cards and stuff. So considering Toms Hardware is what helped me with my part list to begin with a year ago, id say its best to ask for the upgrades for it.

GPU: MSI Radeon RX580 8GB OC
CPU: AMD Ryzen 2600 3.8
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666
Motherboard: B450m PRO-VDH

First off I would sell your old card on craigslist or Facebook marketplace. You can charge more for it that way due to the ability to test it on site. Next I would take a look at the used market first, you can buy old 1080's for around $275 which I think is a great price. If the used market doesn't tickle your fancy then I would spring for a 5700xt or a 1660 ti.

RX5700 or RX5700XT, RTX 2060 Super is the next significant step up as a 'mid-range' upgrade.

High end would be anything faster. RTX 2070 Super, RTX 2080 Super, RTX 2080Ti.

RX580 is a good 1080p option. If you don't have a monitor/game that demands more GPU, then it may not be worth it and you should save your money until you can afford an appropriate Monitor and GPU.

I do already have the Asus 4k 1ms 28" Monitor. But I usually tend to game on my 1080p 144 24" because cant reach solid FPS on the 4k and if i play at 1080 on it, it looks pre bad. So Im in the market for a card that could pump out 1440p Id say. Its a nice in between id say.

I would recommend a vega card but you need a half decent understanding of undervolting and overclocking to get them to work to their full potential which is a shame.

I would love to do Craigslist but the best option Id have on there is a Vega 56, which i think is a good upgrade for 285$? But they live like 3 hrs away. lol So I guess my bets bet if new. Ebay isnt much help in the used department either for those cards.

All comes down to what you want to spend. But to run a 4K monitor properly, yeah, that is basically the 2080 and up. 1440p 60hz easily doable by an RX5700XT or RTX2060 Super. 144hz you are back to 2080 and up.

If you are looking closer to the $300 price point, I would just save your money. Maybe wait and see if AMD is going to release a high end GPU on 7nm anytime soon.

Looks like Nvidia is going to milk Turing for a while, wait for everyone to catch up on RTX support in games.

Yea, vega cards are what Im seeing the most at a good price but if thats the case, then that sucks. I have no idea how to overclock or undervolt. lol Most experience i had was back in the RadeonPro days where that <Mod Edit> was just a slider.

I mean it still kind of is with wattman but you have to find the voltage sweet spot for the p states, you literally get a 30% solid performance increase, takes the card from about 1070 performance past 1080.
