I'm playing around with my new I7 build, my goal being to learn more, rather than really caring about actual numbers that I end up at. After raising the CPU multiplier to 46 and dropping the vcore down a little bit (I'm assuming, as long as its stable, lower is better for CPU longevity?), the machine is stable.
Next, I've been playing around with the memory settings, but it seems no matter what I try, I get BSOD. So, what I'm wondering now is, assuming I'm planning to stick to the stock cooling, what area would you look at next in fiddling around to get more performance out of the machine?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
