^Yeah, I'm sure most here probably are younger anort, but you were only 2 when I graduated high school, as I'm 57. Trust me, sometimes I'd love to use a controller that actually has good response on a more comfortable chair, and not feel tied to my PC desk, but I've yet to see one.
I'm not really a big fan of using the least agile digit, thumbs, for navigation and aim, but if these haptic pads are more quick and precise than analog sticks, it's a step in the right direction.
I hope there will be test stations in stores to try out this controller, because I really want to give it a shot.
OK, better get back on topic before this gets out of hand. I'm currently playing and enjoying Project CARS and The Evil Within. I'm currently racing LMP 3 class, and picked the Radical (though am wishing I'd chosen the team with the Caterham).
The Rad slips a bit but I was able to tweak tire pressure, brake balance and traction control slip just enough to grip adequately on keyboard once the tires warm up. I gotta say, I'm shocked at how well they implemented the analog filters for KB driving.
In TEW I'm midway through a Nightmare run. Some parts have been easier than I expected due to learning tricks from prior play throughs, and some places have been tough trying to get through without wasting too many resources.
I killed the Sentinel for the first time just to check out the loot. Not sure it was worth it, but made me feel more confident. I'm starting to find Flash bolts are quite useful, esp in that spot early on with Joseph where he's hacking through doors.
Akumu mode is going to be a real pain. I've yet to try Mein Leben mode in Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, because I'm not a big fan of one life modes. Not sure Akumu's one hit kill is any better, especially since I've read the AI are tougher too.
That said, I ran through the dark area with the invisible guys in TEW this time without using any weapons. It's going to be a mad dash for checkpoints on Akumu.
