I completed ME3. Took me the same time as ME2 did, which was about 40 hours.
Oh man, where do I start?
IMO, this was the best way to end the trilogy, at least according the ending I got. I had to make some renegade choices along the way, because it had to be done.
Priority Earth mission, was amazing in all aspects. There was a certain beauty to the destroyed London landscape, with the Reaper beam in the background.

I honestly did not know of the endings despite hearing about the immense hate it received. And in my regard, I am completely satisfied with how the game ended for me.

I started to feel bad when Shepard got hit by the reaper and when he started to limp across to the beam. I felt really bad for Anderson, getting killed in the end of it all. The catalyst child was a total surprise. I did not see that one coming. His methods for the betterment of life as a whole was questionable and his search for a better solution was most definitely needed.

In the end, I decided to go the Synthesis route but I did not understand which way to go, so I chose the red area, which was the Destroy choice. Lol. Turns out, I feel like I got the best ending possible. In fact, I'm really happy with how the sacrifices and effort put into the war was worth it. That, and the fact that Shepard is still alive makes me joyful.

I really liked the ending, and the series is definitely something I'll remember for a long time. It's been one hell of a journey. Can't wait for Andromeda!

Awesome man. No matter what choices you make the trilogy is a hell of an experience.

Synthesis is the best ending....mostly. You can go back and play the just the final part on the Citadel again if you want to see it. Choosing Destroy kills all AI. Meaning EDI and the Geth too. 🙁 I thought the ending was amazing as well and never got the hate it received. I was happy with the choices available.

To me the games have great replay value just because of the two voice actors. You can also play as a different class making combat a completely different experience.

Wasn't The Citadel awesome? Drunk Grunt in the shower......that alone is worth playing it for.

And then there's this of course.

One of the best scenes in gaming in my opinion.

Yeah,
it only just hit me that EDI wasn't in the group when Shepard's name was about to be put on that memorial board. Damn... I'm sorry Joker.
But wouldn't me choosing Synthesis result in Shepard dying? I mean, even though his survival chances in Destroy's ending is shown as just a glimmer of hope, he's still alive right?

Haha, drunk Grunt in the shower was hilarious. So was the whole DLC. Javik and Wrex taking cover behind and shooting was funny too.

The whole final moments of the game were really mesmerising. Yeah, the arrival of all the fleets are really cool.

If you choose Synthesis:

Shepard dies. But it's worth it. At least watch it on youtube if you don't want to replay the final scenes.

It shows his hand if you choose Destroy and it implies he lives.

Edit: Here you go, the extended Synthesis ending if you want to watch it.

I've been playing Euro Truck Simulator 2 for a over a year now non stop, also as a racing simulator lover I consider Assetto Corsa to be the best simulator ever in every respect, it's simply amazing!!

As for FPS I love Crysis 2 and 3, Battlefield 3 and 4, almost all recent Call of Duty games and also Alien Isolation(which is not exactly an FPS, more of a horror first person game).

Other than that some 3rd person shooters like the Splinter Cell series and Kane and Lynch 1 and 2.

I'm looking forward to the new Dirt Rally and Project Cars.

LoL Fan alert?

i think that was you that had brought her up a few pages back. you were definitely right. going on with my 2nd Fallout 4 playthrough now that Far Harbor was near and ran into it/her the other day. don't know how i missed it on my 1st run.
she is definitely one of most intriguing characters out of the companions. and has replaced Piper as my ingame affair.
there's just something about that voice. i wonder if anyone actually left her a robot, i couldn't bare to. i really, really hope they have some DLC being prepared for her like Nick & Far Harbor.

was really planning on getting back into XCOM 2 soon. got a complete DLC deal thinking i would finish it over a couple days before getting into Far Harbor, but some how got back into Dark Souls 3 instead.

now i've got Far Harbor running and Blood & Wine coming soon. still never got to the Hearts of Stone content in my New Game+ yet so that'll be at least another few weeks of gaming for both Witcher DLCs plus end game.

think it may be some time before i can get to my Alien Hunters and all the other add-ons the DLC package includes. how much content does it all add? not just new types of training and gear, right? was very close to the end game so hopefully it adds some more missions to get back into.

and you guys are killing me on this thread. all the talk about Mass Effect had me drag out the original's discs and reinstall. played for about 30mins and now i want to get back to that also. guess i'm just going to have to stop sleeping, give up going to the bar, and start calling out of work more. maybe will get through some of my current games and maybe get to the backlog waiting.

The best game I have ever played is Ninja Gaiden Black.
Its by far one of the hardest games ever (if not the hardest).I first played it when I was 10-12 years old got stuck on the end and dumped it.At the age of 15 I found it as a searching for something and said why not?Finished it and after 3 years I played it again and finished it on Master Ninja difficulty (anyone who has played that difficulty will know what I mean).
Ninja Gaiden Black is one the best and also hardest games of all time

I remember playing Ninja Gaiden on my cousin's Xbox when I was around 9 or 10 too. I don't think it was the Black version, just the original. I was really impressed with it at that time. It really was hard, despite me playing only just the opening level. I wish I could play it again someday.

I have an XBOX console since 2002 (14 years Holly ****) and it has 0 problems i mean microsoft did a really great job and i consider myself lucky for having one today that is still operational. If I could give it to you to play this game I would

Haha, that's thoughtful of you.
He bought his Xbox during the time it released too I think, but it's broken now. It has been broken for quite some time. He used to own a PS (the first one) and I remember playing Final Fantasy VII on it. That too, I just played the opening level. Fortunately it came out for PC, so once it did I immediately downloaded and played it. I sure am glad I did cause it's now one of my favourite games of all time.

On the Xbox, I remember playing NFS: Underground, NBA street Vol 2, FIFA 05 (I hated the sports games, lol), Matrix (Just the 2 player fighting mini game where I'd play against my brother) and of course Ninja Gaiden.

Yeah that was me. I like her best out of all the companions I had in Fallout 4. I still haven't started Far Harbor yet as I'm about 30 hours into Skyrim and I'll probably finish it before playing something else.

I always hated sports games too Gman. I haven't played one I liked since Madden 92 or 93 back on the Sega Genesis many many years ago 😛

There is never enough time for this hobby! I've still got to finish the Witcher 3 which I finally picked back up a few days ago (playing that alongside Xcom and a bit of Elite).

I actually dropped Witcher when Fallout 4 came out and despite not really liking fallout that much I played all the way through. In my opinion Witcher is far better but I ache for a first person mode in that game (not for combat just for exploration, it's so pretty).

Xcom 2 Alien Hunter does add a new (or maybe a few new) mission(s) through a kind of side quest similar to the slingshot DLC from xcom. I've not got to one yet but have had some of the new story elements, it's definitely interesting.

I've been playing through survival mode in Fallout 4 and won't touch far harbor until I get through the commonwealth in survival. Survival mode may seem like a pain in the butt to most, but it really makes your decisions have more weight. My first play through was way too easy even on the harder difficulties towards the end. It almost felt like there were no consequences.

When I'm tired of that I get on Battleborn. Way more depth than Overwatch. Fun stuff.

I've been playing Skyrim and messing around with mods for the first time. I've always been somewhat of a purist ( for good or bad ) and never really modded anything before unless it was officially supported. I have to say some of the mods available are "interesting" to say the least.

definitely. started a new game a couple years ago when i got a huge mod compilation with some detail improvements(textures, bodies, spells, weapons, armor, etc) and a huge list of new quests and NPCs. played 20-30 hours in 3D with a great TriDef profile. have been planning on getting back to it someday.
my original playthrough was 200+ hours with the expansions. only ever used 1 mod for larger companion parties, had a pretty badass Dragon Priest squad. played probably 90% of the game as a vampire so it was very cool when the Dawnguard expansion was released.

I played Skyrim quite some time ago, about 4 years back I think. It's when I had my GTS450. It couldn't handle most of the mods so I never bothered with them.
At the same time, it was my first Elder Scrolls game and I had no idea that there were several factions available to play with. I simply did the main quests and some side ones (not faction related) and yet I still loved the game. Only after I played Oblivion did I realize that there were other factions and they had their own quests to play through.

So yeah, I am thinking of playing through Skyrim again, but I already have other games to finish off first.

I only played Skyrim once and it was before all the DLC was released. Crazy because I've played Morrowind and Oblivion countless hours. I just never got back to Skyrim until now. By the time I'm finished I'll have Far Harbor and Blood and Wine to go back to.

finished Far Harbor missions(i think) early yesterday, may still be some NPCs or map locations i haven't stumbled across. some nice additional content(maybe 10 hours), a couple new weapons, a couple new monsters, and a couple new suits of armor and clothing but i really expected much more. compared to the other Fallout game's expansions i guess it's pretty average length and content. definitely worth a playthrough.

somehow i got back to Dragon Age: Inquisition last night, starting fresh and pushing my game catalogue back some weeks again more than likely. a few DLC and updates i never played through.
surprised again how much i enjoy playing it after all the hate and bashing i still constantly read and hear about it. i imagine most of those with the negative comments have never actually played it.

I've been spending most of my gaming time in Grim Dawn and when playing co-op with my younger brother, we've been in Dying Light for the past 70 hours of game time. We usually play 3-4 hours every other weekend.

I've so many games in my backlog, but I can't seem to get away from these two at the moment.

I've went back to the Witcher 3. I did not play Hearts of Stone back when it released, but I lost all of my save files after I finished the game, so I've started with the pre-made level 32 character. Wow, am I having a hard time in combat. I'm getting hit and I'm dying a lot more than before. Don't know if my skills are rusty (it's been almost a year since I last played it) or that the expansion is a lot more difficult than the main game. Either ways, I'm hearing it's great expansion and since Blood and Wine is releasing too, I thought this was the best time to play it.

I'm also playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. I'm encountering a lot of bugs, more than I usually see in any game but it's not game breaking. The graphics aren't that good, but they're okay at best. The missions like always, are fun, but the whole contextual aspect of every gadget you're given is starting to annoy me.

Other than that, I bought a controller (Xbox clone) and I tried playing some games with, although I'm having a hard time adjusting. Racing games are a breeze though.
