That was weird as hell but like Gman said I found it hard to quit watching. Looks like Darryl from The Walking Dead is in a real mess this time

Don't know what to think of Death Stranding. I'm sure it will be better than that last disaster TWD Survival Instinct Reedus appeared in though.

Of what I've seen of E3 so far though, this is one of the best trailers.

I'm playing Assasin's Creed: Syndicate currently. It's just so much fun! The fighting mechanism is the best of any AC game I think. The difficulty is also higher than Black Flag which is good. I've owned the game since December but am just playing it now since I finally have fans to cool my GPU down.

Hmm, people should be comparing Death Stranding to Metal Gear Series not Walking Dead. If anyone was in doubt the graphics are in real-time not pre-rendered. Since I personally liked MGSV more than Witcher 3, I'm totally hyped for this.

Favorite game would have to have been TES: Skyrim, countless hours poured into that game. But really hyped for No Man's Sky, just hoping the release date stick this time. One of the reasons I upgraded from my old gaming PC (HD 3650 256mb, Q6600 @ stock 😉)

I obviously wasn't comparing those two games. I was merely implying Reedus is backing a better developer this time around, vs the last disaster he was involved in.

You took what I said completely out of context.

Yeah I know the context in which you and @anort3 were talking in. Guess no one is a fan of Hideo Kojima here. Else Kojima's work would the first thing to come to mind not Norman's.

Ah... Magicka... Great "cooperative" game!

I still remember fire x2, rock x3 field + charge to a friend. Or the death ray of friendship.

Cheers!

On and off I've been playing eve online since about 2009 on a cheap shop bought pc but finished my first gaming pc this week so decided to take another look and have to say at max settings and a good fps level the game looks awesome can't believe what I've been missing graphics wise

If any of you are fans of Half Life and its sequels I totally recommend picking up Black Mesa. It's only $7.99 is the Steam sale.

Really amazing to play Half Life with HL2 or better graphics. It's still early access but it's 100% playable and I haven't had a single crash or anything at 10 hours in.

It just somewhat recently became available on Steam. They still haven't added Xen but it's still a great game. Hopefully at some point they'll finish it. I'd been watching it for years as well.

Yeah, this game was almost vapourware. I'm happy they released half of it even if it took so long.

I saw the release date - May, last year. I remember it being released back in 2012. Wasn't it available in steam back then? I think the early access part has something to do with multiplayer content.

No it's not finished. It used to be free and might still be on their website but to get updates like the yet to be released Xen you need to buy it. As it's a completely fan made game I don't mind paying $8. I'm at 12 hours right now so $8 for 12+ hours is a pretty good deal. And as good as Half Life was back in the late 90s it just looked too dated to really be fun to play today. Black Mesa fixes that. It looks great at 1440p. The 2015 date is when it was approved to be added to Steam.

Oh I see.
I tried playing through Half Life, but I just couldn't differentiate between what you can interact with and what you can't. The textures look really dated. I mean, if there was a switch that needed flipping, I could never see it. Lol. It was one of the reasons I never finished it. I thought Black Mesa could help me out there, but it ain't finished yet, so no dice.

Funny thing is, I played the half life games in reverse. HL2: EP2 first, HL2: EP1 next, HL2 and then the first one, lol.

I seem to have put AC: Unity on hold when I decided to play through L.A Noire. It was one of the games I did not finish because of that old HDD failure. I've nearly reached the end of it. Just a few more cases left. The gameplay is really unique. Facial animations are just wow. Side quests are kind of a let down though. I've put around 20 hours into it so far.

I lost an LA Noire game that I was about 12 hours into as well. I need to get back to it. I wonder if it would have my last save with the cloud backup so I didn't have to start over. Some games do some don't. I think I lost it when I did a clean install moving over to Windows 10 last year.

Still playing Skyrim with mods. I haven't even played Blood and Wine or Far Harbor yet. I knew Skyrim was going to take forever and I'm at 161 hours so far. Lots to go.

I LOVE the HL series and Black Mesa brings the first game up to par with HL2 and Episode 1 and 2. Even though they haven't added Xen yet they added some additional levels that aren't in the original game. In fact I'm at 12 hours in Black Mesa and I'm not done yet. Half Life took me 13 hours to beat with Xen.

Haha, I haven't started on Blood and Wine either, thought I'm dying to explore Toussaint.
I kind of want to play through Skyrim again, with mods this time. My first playthrough was pretty straightforward, without participating in any of the factions, and just doing some of those never ending quests which were lame. Like I said before, it was my first elder scrolls game, so I had no idea of how to properly play through it. I still loved it, despite missing out on loads of other stuff.
But, I have a backlog that needs finishing, and after that I might consider it.

The new 'remaster' of Skyrim that bethesda is doing doesn't seem that impressive. It just looks like they've got godrays turned on.

The remaster is supposed to add 64 bit extensions to the game. Even with mods you are hard limited to 3GB as Skyrim is now. Making the game 64 bit will remove that limitation and should make it much more mod friendly and make it perform better on more modern hardware. A graphics overhaul in the actual game should make for better mods as well.

I wish they would remaster Morrowind and Oblivion. Morrowind especially.

I just played the first hour or so of Blood and Wine. They completely redid the menu system since the last time I played. I wasn't really expecting that but I like it better so far. Seems to be much easier to navigate.

BallisticNG!

If you like Wipeout XL and Wipeout 3, this game is for you! Excellent reproduction of the ship physics so if you retained any of that skill from Wipeout XL/3, you should have no trouble with this. It is open source and highly moddable. Still in development with online multiplayer as a major feature I'm really looking forward to.

Did I mention it is free on Steam?

Here is a demo of me dominating an easy track. Not sure if it is still a thing but if you try it, you might have to turn up the graphics. For whatever reason they were at the absolute minimum when I first installed it.

Just try it out if you enjoyed the early Wipeout series. Works great with an Xbox 360 controller (what I use).

Here is another one I just recorded of a different track after an update today that reworked a bit of physics and the HUD. Downscaled it to 1080p60 to save on upload/processing time (work ya know). Quality should be better soon if it isn't already. Note that even while banging off the walls i'm still consistently setting track records, need some more competition people!
