For me it's been all Forza Horizon 3 lately. I was a big fan of Horizon on the 360 and Horizon 2 on the Xbox One but Horizon 3 is easily the best in the series. The game is great on its own but the fact that it is on PC now makes it even better. If you have any interest in cars or driving games that aren't strict simulations I highly recommend checking it out.

I had been playing through Undertale for a few days now and I've beaten it. It was a short game but it was surprisingly good. Graphics are 8 bit and they remind of you of the older Final Fantasy titles. The gameplay and story is what makes it shine. I heard a lot about this game a year back and all the priase it received but I let it slide. I'm definitelty glad I decided to play through it. One of the better games to have released last year.

Online gaming just isn't my thing. I have tried it but I love Single Player games so much more.

I finally beat Obduction. I had to look up hints for 3 areas and I only blatantly copied off the answer for just one puzzle. But I did the them all mostly on my own, which made it feel really satisfying. The game was good. I never played the Cyan games like Myst or Riven so I don't really know where it holds up with respect to those.

There is supposedly a numbering system for Myst or Riven and the same is here for Obduction as well. I had a hard time learning it on my own so I looked that up as well, to get the proper understanding. But it seemed like it didn't have much of a purpose as I simply guessed away most puzzles of that sort and they all worked out.

The game has different endings. I got the bad ending first so I re-did the final moments to get the good one. It was a good game overall, very challenging.

I added Obduction and Undertale to my Steam wishlist. They both look pretty good.

I finished the Mankind Divided DLC and I'm still playing the new game +. Got a bit sidetracked with some Telltale stuff and that last Humble Bundle. Prison Architect, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Runestone Keeper and a stupid little game called Devil Daggers. :fou:
It's a blast. Hard though!

Star Wars Battlefront 2015! 553 hours and no intention of stopping anytime soon

That's dedication for a game that's only a year old!

I've got 761 hours in Civ IV:Beyond the Sword but that game came out in 2007 😛

Think I'll hold off on Mafia III for a while, it's getting trashed for 30 FPS lock, grainy graphics, poor optimization, and control issues. Devs have confirmed a cap unlock forthcoming via patch, but that's all they've said. A shame some of the most promising looking games show signs of bad porting. They used the excuse console limitations on the 30 cap, but that's not an excuse IMO.

Yep, been playing all day. It is locked, the visuals are pretty awful, textures I reckon something like 1024x768. However, story good, cutscenes, music, gunfights....shame about the painful 30 lock. Hopefully patch will help, but I cant see it improving the visuals.

Monitoring GPU, its holding clocks around 900mhz to lock at 30, max settings. I don't hold much hope to manage 60fps at 2560x1080 maxed out, which is ridiculous, given how poor it looks.

Thing is can't stop playing it! So absorbing

The most worrisome thing is, this is the kind of problems that very well could kill the series. It will probably depend how well it sells on console, because it's looking like a lot of these problems on PC won't be resolved.

I know. It can look good at times. It's all kinda blurry with terrible draw distance. I was playing max Payne 3 and I'm almost convinced the textures are better on that from 2013.
But it's like playing a really captivating movie...can't put it down!

Oh wow, it's that bad, huh? I hope they put out that patch soon.

I've been playing Batman Arkham Knight now. Despite the underwhelming port, there is a great game underneath. Most of the performance related issues were fixed with the patch. I'm having so much fun with the batmobile. I read so many complaints regarding the game forcing you to use the batmobile as much as possible. I've only put in maybe 5 or 6 hours but the I never got tired of the batmobile. The story is engaging and there are some new gameplay elements in addition to the car. The riddler puzzles have been revamped as was the case from Asylum to City, which I find to be enjoyable as well. There are numerous side quests too, just like in Arkham City.

The main issues for me:
The frame lock
Shocking textures and lighting
Very fast cloud movement

Hopewfully patchable. But if they can patch it in a weekend, why not just sort it before release? almost as amateur as the guys who made Fallout 4.

I played BAK...quite enjoyed it actually!

As expected. Awful awful port. Same settings maxed, seeing 45-55fps with drops. Medium I'm.getting locked 60fps. This is at 1920x1080. Things are not good at 2560x1080.

Honestly, for.such an average looking game...

People with 1070s are seeing drops to 50s om high at 1080p. Another bunch of amateur developers for a pc game 🙁 might have to refund this one in..

And: CPU usage is insane in places, up to 85%....

To add some more after a few more attempts:

CPU usage is pegged at 90%...good luck to anyone running anything slower than a decently clocked new i5
FPS is pretty much in the 40's with max settings, AA to off and Reflections to medium
Game actually feels OK in smoothness terms somehow...not great though

For people interested in settings, I get 60fps with this but be warned, it uses 2 cores pretty heavily at about 90% so AMD CPU users you may struggle here:
- DoF On
- AO Off
- Shadows medium
- Geo high
- Reflec low
- Shadow medium

Reflections is the real FPS killer

AA looks terrible
Even maxed out it looks average.

CPU usage is the big FPS killer though.

I tried it with RAM at 2133 and 3000...that gave me a 10fps boost so its another speed hungry game

In a world facing upheaval from climate change and new technologies, PC games online have taken a huge lead. You can explore the open world and engage in the cooperative or competitive game matches online from Novaplay, like, Mortal Kombat, GTA V, Counter-Strike, Rockstar Games.

I've been playing the new season of Path of exile, it's a pretty fun game, i have been playing it on and off for almost 3 years now.I'm also playing RocketLeague with some friends, alone it gets boring after a couple of hours, but with friends it's pretty awesome!
