Well I also played The Bureau: XCOM Declassified But that game It was type of classic game or you can say It was just ah!

Yeah first impressions of TEW can be daunting, but the nice thing is, there are also plenty ways to keep that feeling by upping difficulty level or even playing with no upgrades. My best achievement so far was a no upgrade run on Nightmare with around 30 deaths. I'll eventually try a no upgrade run on Akumu, but that may not happen until I upgrade my PC, because I want to capture it, and I prefer doing that with ShadowPlay rather than AMD's buggy ReLive.

By the way, in case you haven't heard, The Evil Within 2 has been confirmed.

Yep I have heard of evil within 2 but I'll need a new pc soon

I was just thinking of Dead Space 3 how's it? I have heard that it's futuristic,Third person and is it horror then Evil Within If it is then I can't play it. I was also thinking of it because it will run on ultra graphics of my pc that's why so what your thought on this game?

I love all three Dead Space games. The first one doesn't play very well with a mouse and keyboard ( at least I didn't like the controls ) but it's still worth playing. One of the few game series that I find scary.

Dead Space 3 is better then The Evil Within?

I haven't played The Evil Within. If you're going to play Dead Space start with the first one.

i really enjoyed Dead Space 1 & 2. got 3 a couple years ago and planned on doing a marathon run of all three but never got around to it.
they are a fun simple 3rd person action game. by "simple", i mean that there are not a lot of gameplay commands available or decisions to make. definitely a series i used my gamepads for.
it is a 3rd person sci-fi horror action game based on a set of space ships and i think a small station later on. i remember there being some crafting or just simple upgrade options for weapons and suit. small corridors and dark rooms add to the scary ambiance.

i didn't get much of a horror vibe off of Metro 2033 or Last Light. felt more like a good FPS that you just happened to be killing monsters in. Dead Space games had a much darker, suspenseful feeling to me.

i would go for neither and just get the original Dead Space to begin with.
also, if you would need a new system to play Evil Within 2, you will definitely want to pick that up before attempting to play the Metro games. even the original releases were VERY system demanding.

What's your point i didn't get it why shouldn't I start metro?

Nice to see someone not bashing the 3rd one like so many did. You owe it to yourself to try The Evil Within if you like great horror games though.

@Gogeto,

If you played and liked Dead Space 1&2, no reason not to play the 3rd. If you haven't played any of them, I recommend playing them in order for the full effect of the story. This is because the characters and knowledge of the Necromorphs unfolds little by little.

The 3rd was bashed for it's story being soap opera like, the gameplay being more action oriented, and the weapon building being more complex. In reality the silly love triangle dialog was a very small part of the story. It also offered many ways to play, including Classic Mode in which weapon crafting is disabled and you can only build weapons from the previous games via blueprints.

That said, Classic Mode has to be unlocked by first beating the game. That is best though because this game does throw more Necros at you, and often times at a faster pace, which drew alot of criticism from die hard survival horror fans. It still does have good pacing in between action though. You have to know the game well to beat it on Classic. DS 3 also adds dungeons, which are optional missions where you will work your way toward rooms with big cache boxes. Along the way you will encounter the best circuit chips in the game, which upgrade your weapons, but also the toughest enemy encounters.

If you want to try DS 3 and have a hard time figuring out weapon crafting, just let me know and I'll give you some pointers. Weapons in DS3 always have an upper feature and lower feature. The lower feature is usually an alt fire weapon, but can also be the rotator, as with the Plasma gun's ability to rotate it's beams to cut vertically or horizontally for optimal limb severing depending on enemy position. Some of the parts I'm about to describe take a while to get to, and can be hard to find. That's OK because you don't encounter really tough enemies until later in the game, and if you dispatch enemies here and there as you go, you'll have ample time to explore.

I got in the habit of using the telemetry spike and diffraction torus for upper tool and tip, with military engine and conic dispersal for the lower weapon. That creates a "Chaingun" upper (sounds more like assault rifle), and shotgun lower. The best frame is the Heavy S.C.A.F, which has the most circuit slots for upgrades. Lastly, I added the acid bath attachment. That way you can carry lots of ammo and it leaves acid baths that will destroy smaller/faster enemies quickly. The shotgun is also a very powerful one shot kill for any enemies that get close. There are other powerful one shot weapons, but they are not fast enough for dungeon swarms, and run out of ammo.

Here is my custom weapon I described in action. This is the "Weapon Crafting Arena". It's a nice feature the game has for testing any weapons you craft. You can also revert to a prior checkpoint if you don't wish to keep them, so you can literally try endless combinations without actually spending any of your resources.

And yes Gogeto, definitely play Metro, but I recommend Metro 2033 Redux and Last Light Redux. They are graphically better and more optimized games than the original 2033, and add new gameplay content.

Here's the trailer of Metro Exodus that was recently released (2018 game release). Going to be amazing too.

Awesome trailer. Crazy to see the gas mask come off outside. Usually the other way around. Is it Artyom? It has to be Artyom.

Don't know who it is, sometimes I seek too much info and end up regretting it. Yeah it's usually gas masks outside instead of indoors, but this way you get clear screen where most of the beauty is. With more time gone by since the nukes there may be more safe zones outside as well. I really hope this game will support HDR, because I'm considering getting a Sony 4K HDTV with HDR.

Did you notice the monster animations also look smoother? I hope that translates to same in final product. The monster animations in 2033 and Last Light were a bit too robotic. The animations in general just look more fleshed out, like the use of kicks, and placing a foot on the wolf to pull out the crossbow bolt. Again though, hope it's the same in final product. Sometimes these trailers are deceiving.

Shame on you, apparently spoiler tags mean nothing to you? (JKG)

I didn't have to click anything to see you say "It is Artyom. I had to look." :sarcastic:

Seriously though, doesn't bother me. I don't tend to blame others for what I get suckered into reading. I'll probably also forget you said it by the time the game releases. There are both minuses and pluses to having a fading 59 yr old memory. LOL

this would seem to imply that your current system may not be able to handle The Evil Within 2 due to system performance. if that is the case, there is no way you even get decent performance with decent settings in any of the Metro releases.

if you only meant that it will cause lack of funds to acquire the game, then you should still start with the original Dead Space simply for the fact that is a great series and you would be missing the majority of it by diving right into 3.

and what did you mean by,
why can't you play it if so?

Again, Metro Redux games perform much better than original 2033. Also, The Evil Within can play a lot better with just a couple simple commands used, and I suspect same will be true of TEW 2. They may even add menu toggles for them this time around.

There's no actual confirmation whether they're using Id Tech 5 engine again, or Id Tech 6, but I would think they'd want to use 6 since they had problems with 5 and had to code in new lightning because of it.

The Steam summer sale starts today. I figure most of you guys know that though. 😀

But Metro the last light Redux will not run on my pc on ultra graphics and I have played Dead Space 3 on my friends pc,that was a good experience tho 😀

Those with moderate spec shouldn't get used to insisting on Ultra. Quite often there's very little difference between Ultra and the next notch down too. What is your spec btw?
