I was about to comment along lines of " now all we need is Hotel California to have the trifecta of cliched rock songs "

I think I linked it in the recent past. I will resist.

Breaks pattern

You broke the combo Colif. 🙄 EXODUS is a pretty good band though. I like their older albums so much, "Bonded by Blood", and "Pleasures of The Flesh". .

I'm pretty sure you guys all will enjoy and love this song posted below. An extreme METAL band playing Thrash/Death/Black Metal genres !

/s That was a joke. Did you fell for it. 😛

We jokingly say Slayer were influenced by hard core bands like ABBA and The Bay City Rollers, so Aqua are pretty extreme too

I grew up listing to Fabulous Disaster, I have a smattering of their later albums on PC, most of he early stuff was on tape... gone now. sigh

Video Unavailable - clicks link under video, only way he knows its Smoke on the Water.
Guess they trying to stop being a cliche by removing video?

It won't work, Hotel California became a cliche long before YouTube existed. And they tried to keep most of it off platform for a long time.. seems they have relaxed

i like this one

Christmas Eve, ?too many? Jack & Gingers, we're on a 90s trip;
next in line:
Temple of the Dog: All Night Thing
Mother Love Bone: Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns
Pearl Jam: Nothingman

...still 1/4 bottle of Jack + 2x 12s of St Pauli Girl...
we'll see where it takes us.

Likely your region is blocked for copyright reasons as the video plays fine here in USA.

Hotel California and honestly the Eagles as a whole are fairly decent in my book, if a bit cliche.

It's unfortunate that Smoke on the Water was the song from Deep Purple that got 99% of the radio playback and publicity.

Deep Purple has better songs by far.

This is one of my fav "underground" Black Metal/BM band from Australia ! Band name: Drowning The Light.

Genre: Black Metal. More like Atmospheric/Symphonic BLACK METAL as a sub-genre. Ignore the lyrical themes as those are just a part of theoretical dissection, but this band's sound is one of most unique when it comes to Black Metal. This guy is highly talented. He is actually the owner of this indie record label/production, Dark Adversary Productions.

Country of origin: Australia (Kiama, and New South Wales). This band's unique BM sound is not everyone's cup of tea though. You need a different bent of mind and mood to grasp this Music though. It even requires listening to the full album at least 2-3 times, to get the gist of the message/song/theme.

Their last/latest 2018 album was a disappointment though, at least for my taste. Previous older 80 to 90's albums are still on the top charts list. This album sounds like a very weak production.

Not many bands from 80's have had good albums in recent years. ST were never as big as others, being a crossover band, they went further than others did like DRI.

like a lot of bands, I kept buying their stuff hoping. You have to stop expecting them to be as great again. Have to accept it eventually.

Last album was... oh, we have a good drummer, lets use him. But not much else really

I was expecting a New Anthrax album last year after the 40 years video series. Instead they just did a tour. Should be a new one soon though.
