First off, I apologize if a similar thread/topic has already been created before, though I couldn't find one while searching the forums, so that's why I just want to create a NEW Topic. A fresh one.

As per Off-topic forum rules, I would very much like to start this new thread, based solely on MUSIC. I hope this is OK ? MUSIC is what makes me keep alive each day, and I really can't live without it. So you too can post your favorite song, band, and the kind of Music you usually listen to, if you wish.

Which SONG, or MUSIC do you mostly like to listen ? It can be just anything.

It can be the latest song being played on your current gadget, or the song/music you mostly love to hear, when you get time. Just anything, even your favorite Game/movie soundtrack ! My friends, and myself as a BAND, we are mostly into ROCK and METAL (extreme), but I appreciate all genres of MUSIC, be it POP, Classical, Jazz, BLUES, Country, Folk etc. Anyways, I really appreciate good/clean music, be it any genre. So kindly allow me to start:

Guardian Angel, by Yngwie Malmsteen. Genre: Neo-classical metal, Instrumental Rock. This song is pure BLISS ! Yngwie is a Guitar/shredding GOD.

Every time it has to be sweet soul music from the early to mid 1970s. I love The Spinners, The Detroit Spunners, The Detrout Emeralds, Harold Melvyn and The Bluenotes, The Stylistics, Barry White and Al Green. I could just go on and on really.

As to be expected, great guitar and great vocals. Some good albums this year actually.

I wish Mark Tremonti would have done lead vocals for Creed instead of just guitar. Vocals really let down Creed. They had some good songs, some less good.

For safe work listening I usually do Smells like the 90s on I heart or a few of my stations on pandora when clients are arround.
Possum kingdom radio for energetic listening for the ride and when clients are not around.
Pink floyd on creative days and my friends death metal station when you have bitchy neighbors at work. Usually sends them back to their home.
Whatever works ,right?

Cradle of Filth aka COF ROCKS ! Thanks DANI for all the support...You are the best.

Extreme symphonic BLACK METAL at it's finest/purest form. Too bad the band changed their genre to Extreme GOTHIC METAL instead of their original roots, but that was to be expected given the vocalist DANI/Daniel Lloyd's personal life issues. But their early Circa days made them Black/Extreme METAL legends of all time.

Btw, don't get fooled or offended by the band's attire, LYRICS, make-up, gothic dressing, face paint, and stage presence among other things. These guys are highly talented, especially the founder member DANI. Many claim them one of the best extreme and talented METAL bands of all time ! That's not an exaggeration though.

Before posting their extreme BM videos, this one is a GOTHIC number which made them even more popular and successful.

Band name: EMBRACED. This band is a hidden GEM of a talent. Not many are even aware that this band did actually exist in the past. Pretty clean vocals/lyrics, and lyrical themes. It's a shame that such an excellent talented "underground" black metal band has been overlooked by Metalheads, and critics alike !

Genre: MELODIC BLACK METAL.

Country of origin: SWEDEN !

Lyrical themes: Emotions, depression, Sorrow, Solitude, Suspicion of Life. This is how real MELODIC Black Metal should sound. Music straight from the heart and soul.

Lately, I have been just listening to WHITESNAKE Glam Metal/Hard Rock band, and some of David's best love ballads ! Still love their first album TROUBLE. STEVE VAI's contribution was just an icing on the cake for Whitesnake. Not to mention Adrian Vandenberg and JOHN SYKES's guitar solos/lead/rhythm notes/shredding !

This particular track is my favorite though. One of the best LOVE ballads by David. This song has so much emotion and bond, as evident from the Lyrics as well, that I really fell in love with this song. Been listening to it non-stop lately ! A lot of my old memories emerge and end with this track, and are attached to it.
