Question When corsair H100i elite capillex is plugged into it's hub, no fans spin. When I unplug it from hub, all fans begin to spin besides AIO fans/pump.

My buddy had requested my help fixing his rig that a repair shop had fried. After determining the issue was the mobo, I swapped it out for a new mobo & cpu. The system now boots up normally, however, when the connection from pump to hub on the H100i is plugged in, no case fans nor pump will spin. When I unplug it, all case fans aside from the aio fans/pump begin to spin. I have now tried a new identical hub that gives the same issue. Has anybody ever dealt with something like this? I know I haven't.

AIO pumps, for the most part, need far more than single fan needs. So, connecting the pump power wire to "hub", may be far more what that "hub" is able to provide, thus why none of the fans on the "hub" spin. And why the rest are starting to spin, once the AIO pump is removed.

Fix: Plug the AIO pump directly to MoBo.
