Oh boy, time to show my age--Intel 80286 running at 10Mhz (yes, you read that right--10Mhz). We upgraded it to a 386dlc as well as a 486dlc and still have the machine.

Man!
A friend of mine used to make music in Reason on a 386 back in 2001-2003.
The PC would give a BSOD or stuttered if he used long piano chords. He had to export his projects in order to listen to the songs. 😁

The first computer I touched was an Apple II or an IBM PC of some sort. Though this moved on to Mac 128Ks or something. Either way, mid 80s PCs that were hanging around schools by the time I attended. The first computer I remember regularly using had a Pentium in it. The first computer that I could claim as mine had a Coppermine based Celeron. The first computer I built myself had a Athlon 64 X2 3800+.

I was just fortunate to be around people who were also into computers :3
