Which of these Intel processors are good for performance?

I am planning to buy a computer to run some web application & database.

Which of the following Intel Processors are good, which one would you prefer:


Intel Quad Core Processor Core i7-870,2.93Ghz, 8MB

Dual Quad Core Intel Xeon Processors E5520 2.26Ghz,8MB,L3,5.8GT/s,turbo

Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 with VT (3.33Ghz, 6MB,1333Mhz FSB )

Quad Core Intel Xeon X3370, 3.0Ghz, 2x6M cache,1333Mhz FSB

Intel Core i7-870 w/VT ( 2.93Ghz 8MB L3 Cache )

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 with VT (3.0Ghz,12M,1333Ghz FSB)

Out of those, here's the order I would rank them in based purely on their performance on multithreaded applications:

Dual E5520s
i7-870
Q9650 = X3370

Out of those, for what you are doing, get the least expensive.

For a web server and database usage, there can be fairly high load. It all depends on what amount of usage is expected.
