Hello guys,
10 days ago i decide to update my bios (motherboard MSI Pro Z790-a) but something happened and black screen appear for a hour and decide to restart it. There was some errors and asked me to enter new PC name and password. My fans were all spinning at max rpm`s. A friend of mine updated the bios and made windows preinstal but my PC is not the same.
I have AIO for my CPU Liquid Freezer II 420, since the problems with the bios it started to make whooling sound and it`s very very annoying. I don`t know what is the connection but it`s terrible. Any suggestions what to do? Can i reset the bios and starts all over again or? ALl my fans and AIO are at auto position (as before this happened). Everything is normal, but something happened with this AIO.
Could you help me?

Nothing can happen to cooler because of BIOS update but new BIOS version may have different defaults. Try changing speed curve for fans for CPU_FAN header, (I hope that's where they are connected to). Arctic fans can have annoying sound at some RPM

Well, i can adjust the speed of the fans, but what would happen if the temperatures exceed? Will the fans start spin faster? It`s very strange that before this problem everything was perfect, even at higher rpm`s there wasn`t any whooling sound. But now...

If your BIOS allows, you can try changing the fan profiles (switch off Auto and adjust manually) to reduce noise, ten monitor the temperatures. If things get to hot, adjust the fan profile to make the fan spin faster.

In fact, I have a similar problem with the Liquid Freezer II 420 RGB
As long as I don't play games everything is quiet and calm, after I start a game a coil noise starts to be heard
I replaced the video card a few days ago and all this continues.
I have included the cable to the CPU HEADER, even on Artic's advice
Asus on the other hand say I should use the pump headers
If you have any advice on this case, please share with us

The pump runs at PWM. At approx 45% PWM it is at 100%. So are you controlling fan speed at all?
Page 2 of datasheet shows the pump & fan curves, its not matching - https://www.arctic.de/media/80/5b/2d/1690272955/Spec_Sheet_Liquid_Freezer_II_420_EN_update.pdf

Sure its the pump and not the fans?

do you get any noise from fans if you run them over 1100? If so, its a known problem with the fans

I have been using Fancontrol to keep fans below 1100.

Only have a 360

I don't think it's from the fans as well as the pump fan, sounds like a GPU coil
In idle mode there is no problem, everything is quiet and calm, when I start a game this noise starts, after stopping the game it disappears.
The cooling is connected to the CPU HEADER as advised by Artic
Asus have a different opinion on the matter that I should use the pump headers
The motherboard is ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO
Processor Intel Core i9 13900k

nothing...same like me ... as i start gaming and the noice is back :)

even if it's audible at idle, it's probably too weak.
There is no way that the motherboard makes sounds, the processor and memories too, the video card is new 2-3 days old, it remains only from the pump
