Let us stop the fanboyism and acknowledge AMD's market strategy - the AVERAGE consumer not troubled by synthetic benchmark scores or maxing our Crysis. I see too much hate going on from both camps - let us make love not war. But in reality anyone who 'hates' AMD needs a friggin reality check. Intel will not be on top forever - anyone remember the Athlon series? People were sure AMD would lead the way forever after that.

In my humble opinion, and at the risk of pissing people off (who am I kidding: Some of you are already far beyond that...): There are a number of individuals who have spent enough effort arguing with each other over matters which (at one time or another) might have been based in some (real, perceived, or made up) "Truth"... that any technological basis is now far, far FAR beyond the point.

What we have left is nothing more than an ongoing p*ssing contest over who's E-Penis is bigger than the others'. (And yes, Jenny: You're no exception, and I don't care whether you happen to use the facilities while sitting down instead of standing up.) The goal here has transformed from making a technological point and/or discussion into "Proving This Stupid @$$hole Wrong; Once And For All". The technology - (often twisted beyond all recognition) - is merely the vehicle whereby respective taunts are being exchanged.

IMHO, the Moderators here have been *very* lenient as to what is allowed and what is not. To put it bluntly: If I were in their position, I wouldn't tolerate even half the crap they let you guys get away with.

I revoked my art use licenses from xcpus and they used it anyway claimed I threatened suit which I did not I simply contacted the steam admins where they were using art that I had revoked, I never threatened anyone, yet they stir up gossip and rumor worse than age demented 90 yr olds and they still use my art without permission in protest , which is illegal, but in my world view its power they give me by taking from me.

The group think on that site is deplorable IMO, it actually disgusts me. people like Dean, juan and jack are among the very few that stay rational. There are a few others that deserve mention but the rest arent worth talking to or about .

You can't lose by coming clean; there is no lack of forgiveness - surprise. But continuing to defend insane self-destruction, is simply a bottomless pit, a place of hard work, energy for no pay, and a bad trip.

I think de escalation would be a sign of maturity. Jenny youre a smart girl even elmo thinks youre a formidable person to argue with, right or wrong. One great rule of thumb in forums is that when it gets nasty you should just tune it all out. especially here where the world is waiting to argue to the point of madness.

During that last spat I got banned as well for ripping magicless to shreds, but I pointed out my crossing the line to randomizer, whos been a friend for several years now.

It was premeditated malicious and immature but you should know that is what happened. Rando was privy to the idea before hand but failed to make a link until I was informed of it, which is why you werent banned for a week, rando knew they used him after I put the pieces together.

Point is you dont need to escalate anything and this forums most prolific arguers need to be on guard of assassination runs by xcpus.

you have to think of any form of fanaticism as the perpetual disillusionment trap, the rationale used by insinuated self proclaimed saviors, is really wasted for the most part.
When the fanatic realizes a flaw in his her idol they have to go through several mechanisms to cope like denial, anger, and in the end a distorted form of acceptance with conditions that still idolize the target, you find this in so many things any more its hard to even want to try to combat it since saving yourself is easier and alot less prone to futility and anguish.

A common deficiency is respect, I have only owned AMD but I respect Intel, even more after I found out Moore discounted his observation as being called a law. but you dont get that level of attentiveness and acceptance by most people they simply do not have the self regulating thught and the problem solving capacity and to be honest that was my deficiency before I blasted my head off with LSD.

It sucks but its part of the human condition.
