Hello everyone,
To give some back story to this, I replaced my current AIO that was starting to go out with a Arctic Liquid Freezer Pro III. I had to do a bunch of moving around with the fans but I got everything to fit. During the installation I pulled my 10700K out of the socket to clean it a little better and then reinstalled it. I checked for bent pins in the socket and dirty contacts on the CPU but found none so I reinstalled the CPU and put on the new AIO. I used the X-method, which I have never done, but Arctic recommended it.
After getting everything installed I removed all but but my CPU, one stick of my 2 RAM sticks in the slot that ASUS Prime Z490-P manual says to run one stick in, and obviously my boot drive. I also cleared the CMOS using the jumper and then fired up the PC. I got to a bios screen saying a new CPU was recognized and to press F1 to enter setup. it was able to identify the CPU as my 10700k, as well. The only problem is that when I press F1, the computer just sits at a black screen. Is there anybody who has had this issue before?
Update: I figured out that my digital signal was a bit too much for the UEFI so when I put in an HDMI to DVI cable, I was able to get past the setup screen.
