Hi everyone,

First of all sorry for my English. It is not my first language.

I built a game pc early this month with these specs:

Cpu: Intel Core i9-12900K 3.2 GHz 16-Core Processor
MB: Asus ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8 GB SUPRIM X Video Card
Ram: ADATA XPG LANCER RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5200 CL38 Memory
Ssd: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Power: MSI MPG A-GF 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Everything worked fine until yesterday. I mostly used it to play bf2042 and use lightroom classic.

I was too dumb that to the AI Suit 3 Ai overclock feature. It restarted my pc and it went in to bluescreen and restarted itself. After that i went into bios and loaded default settings hoped to reset bios would help.

I started my pc again it works untill i Login to windows and the pc freeze and crashed. I tried restart it and restore to a previous point, it worked for a while and freeze again.

I tried to reinstall windows, and it works untill i update everything such at drivers and it freeze and crashed.

I tried to reinstall windows again and it crashed during installation.

Now it can't boot into bios and no signal to my monitor.

I checked the code on my mb as listed below: some code is not in the manual so i looked it up online

Where did you source the installer for the OS?

Might want to disconnect from the wall and display, then remove the CMOS battery for at least 30 minutes. You can press and hold down the power button on the case, for 10 seconds, to help discharge any residual power on the system. See if replacing the CMOS battery helps alleviate the issue.

It could very well be a corrupt BIOS chip. Your motherboard has a BIOS FlashBack function, refer to page 2-27 on your motherboard's manual.

Hi everyone,

First of all sorry for my English. It is not my first language.

I built a game pc early this month, everything works fine until yesterday. I mostly used it to play bf2042 and use lightroom classic.

First crash
I was too dumb that i used the AI Suit 3 Ai overclock feature. It restarted my pc and went in to bluescreen and restarted itself after collecting date. It attempted to reslove problems and but it failed. After it restarted I went into bios to load the default settings hoping reset bios would fix whatever the overclock did. After saving and exit bios, it started up as usual until i login to windows and things like steam, orign and other applications the pc freeze again. Mouse and keyboard not responding. I tried restart it and restore to a previous point, login window, it worked for a couple mins until it crashed again. After that i was not able to restore to previous point.

Reinstall windows
So i decided to reinstall my windows as all the other options failed. I created a bootable usb which i reinstall multiple windows 10 for myself and friends with it and they all working fine. i installed windows 10 with the same usb and the installation was normal. It updated everything like windows updated, drives,GeForce experience updates, gaming platform, Adobe software etc it works fine. Expect i didn't install ai suit 3 this time. I even relinked my photo in lightroom. I power off my pc and went to bed. The next day it suddenly crash again after i started my pc and login windows.

It went in to bluescreen and started to collect data but this time it freeze and crashed.

I tried to restart my pc and did attempt to reslove problems as previously. Tried restore the previous it works until login to windows as it did. Other options all failed.

So i reinstall windows again, but this time freeze and crashed during the installation process after input the windows key.

Clean cmos
I see online says to restore bios to default after overclocking should use clean cmos methods so i tried.
I attempted to clean cmos by removing power cable unplug everything connected to the back panel and pressing the button at the back of motherboard for 15 sec, removed the small battery for 20 mins.
I believe It worked as it shows press enter to recover bios, set up intel(r) optane meory or raid. Set VMD, disable asus multicore enhanced MCE. So i hit enter and went in to bios. I searched for the optane memory or raid which i can't, so i load the default settings again. After save and exit. I tried to install windows, but it crashed at the same point just at different percentage. I tried multiple times.

MemTest86+
I looked it up online to find similar situations about freeze and crashing during installation and in windows. people suggested to run the MemTest86+ to see if it can run couple pass with no error. As i remember there is MemTest86 options in my bios, so went into bios and clicked it. It started the program seems normal but it was the first time i use it so i am not sure.

Last thing i see was 4pass and 0 error, but it seems to keep running so i just let it continue. After a few mins it suddenly restarted my pc or my pc suddenly restarted itself. But then it can't boot into bios and no signal to my both monitors, one with display port and the other was hdmi. I usually use display port but i see people say use hdmi only coz there is no drive for display port until you update your windows. However both my screen was working fine during installation of windows. I plug the hdmi to my motherboard. Display port to gpu.

The pc could not boot up at this point, running lots of code onthe motherboard as i listed below, no signal to monitors, no power to the keyboard as the lights was not on. When it freeze and crashed, the led light was still on but i can't turn on or off the led for the number lock or caplclock when pressing them. Those three lock keys work fine before crashing. All 3 non-rgb case fans works fine, all 3 cpu fans works fine with rgb, cpu cooler works fine with rgb, gpu fans and it rgb works fine, no heat issues. I can still change my phone with front panel as i usually do during bed time.

When the pc is of the light on keyboard would be off as no power, but i still able to charge my phone with the front panel.

I could not find the problem at this point so i turn of my pc, unplug everything and let it sit for about an hr. I realized i still need to charge my phone so i pulg the power cable only and turn on the power button on the power supply and charge my phone over night. Next day morning i tried to turn it on. I dont know what the reason but it loaded some code untill it turn to A0 which is IDE initialization is started according to the online manual. So i turned off the pc and plugin my monitors and keyboard to see what happening.

It shows the same thing after i clean cmos on both my monitors with display port and hdmi. So load default settings and begin to install windows. It crashed at the same point of installation.

So i restarted my computer, and tried the MemTest86+ again. It runs a few pass and 0 error but it restarted itself again. And went back to the point where no signal to monitors and no power to keyboard like last time. Same code show on motherboard. So i believe it occurs after the MemTest86+.

I tried unplug everything let it sit like what i did on the previous night. But this time it didn't change anything.

OS installer
I download from Microsoft windows media creation tool with usb, i used it for many time for myself and friends, and they all working great .

CMOS,
I tried both way separate, will try it together tonight.

Flashback
I will dig into that. Have not tried before.

Thank you for your advice. I really appreciate it.

Did you recreate the installer to rule out a corrupt installer? Please don't create multiple threads unless you want you and your audience end up with spaghetti brains.
Sorry about the multiple threads. I included more information in it.

First time i reinstall, i used a usb that i had used for multiple pc. I used windows media creation tool to create the bootable usb.

Second time reinstall, i format the same usb and and recreate it to test

Third time i created another bootable usb to test.

Each time result crashing duing installation.
