[SOLVED] Why is my only partition on this disk split up?

There were previously 2 partitions on this drive but I've moved everything on the other one somewhere else and erased it, expanding the other volume step by step. Now it seems as is every time I did that, instead of enlarging the current region, it kept adding more and more regions. Does this influence the speed? is it something to worry about? can I fix it? note that my external hdd doesn't do that, it expands normally

You could use https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/minitool_partition_wizard_home_edition.html to put the all together again.

Personally, I would copy all off that drive to somewhere else, and delete ALL those.
Ending up with one single basic partition.

I would if I had where to copy 600gb of data. Oh and it's a 5400 rpm HDD :^)

I'll try MiniTool hope they have what I'm looking for in the Pro demo

Merge partitions.

Not having a second safe place for your data is what got you into this situation.

I certainly wouldn't be managing partitions like that without a known good backup.

^ that, don't touch the drive till you get a second one and copy all your files you don't want to lose to it.
