Hey, guys!
About 2 days ago I slept my pc and then disconnected it from the power cable to move it. (Although I did first switch the PSU off and then disconnect the power cable, I feel like this might have been an issue since PC wasn't fully turned off)
After that it wouldn't turn on. At first I thought it was a PSU issue, so I bought a new PSU and changed it (Old one was 10 years old). But still nothing. No lights, no fans, as if its not even connected to the socket. I tried 3 different cables and 4 different sockets, all of the work with other devices.
I tried reconnecting all cables, nothing. I tried shorting the power pins on the MB to start it - nothing. I tried the power button and reset button on the MB - nothing. I tried only leaving the MB, CPU and RAM connected - nothing. I find it hard to believe that either the MB, CPU or RAM is the issue, as they are by far the newest parts in my PC (only about 4-5 months old, compared to 3-5 years for other parts and almost 10 years for the old PSU).
Here is the build:
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
MB: NZXT N7 B650e
GPU: Palit GeForce RTX 3070
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 2x16GB 6000MHz C36
PSU (old): EVGA 850 GT
PSU (new): Corsair RM850e
2 NVMe SSDs - Samsung 970 500gb or something like that (OS disc) + 1TB WD Black SN850X
2 Regular SSDs + 1 HDD
The only disc that I haven't tried disconnecting is the OS disc.
New PSU and WD disc are brand new
CPU, MB, RAM are all 4-5 months old
GPU, OS SSD are about 3 years old
Other SSDs are 4-5 years old
HDD and old PSU are about 10 years old
Sorry for the long post but I'd like to give as much info as possible as I'm stumped. If there's any chance for something other than a complete MB or CPU failure, I'd like to try it before paying for a professional to test the PC and see what's wrong. So, any ideas?
Any help would be greatly appreciated because im very quickly running out of ideas
