[SOLVED] Wifi network adapter stopped working

The wi-fi adapter on my mother's laptop, just stopped working. I got a message that the drivers were out of date, so I had to get on my laptop to download the drivers. I copied the download to a SD card, and then transferred the card to her laptop. I then ran setup and installed the updated drivers to her laptop.

I then restarted the computer and still it doesn't run. I even went to Device Manager, and disabled and re-enabled the device and still nothing.

Her specs are: Dell Inspiron 15 7586 2-in-1
8 GB RAM
Intel i5 1.6GHz
Win10 v.2004
Build 19041.572

The adapter in question is a Intel Wireless-AC 9560.

There are other items under the Network Adapters, but the one in question is the only one with a red triangle. I updated the device to v.22.0.0.6

What could be the trouble? Could the adapter be bad?

I just looked at the "network adapter" on my laptop, and I see that there is no "PCI controller" on her laptop. How do I get that working?

You probably need to update the laptop's chipset driver as well.
