hi, recently got a radeon r7 370, after installing it in dell inspiron 620mt, my computer won't boot up, any help would be great, thanks

i5 2320
550w psu

ah, they won't let me return it, says it's over 30 days already, which i did pay for it, but returned it before because it was faulty and didn't work on any other computers, so they sent a replacement, but they are going by the original date i bought it i guess.

I am sorry to hear this, I really don't know what else can be done.

after some time chatting with new egg, they are allowing me to send it back for a refund but have to pay the restock fee and shipping, it's a lot better then having a paperweight and losing out on all the money, but will get the sapphire one when i get enough.

Better than nothing, which is good.

Just a reminder for later. If Sapphire card would exhibit the same issue, look on top of the card, there is a mechanical switch, use it, it will change GPU BIOS, then it will work. And test it as soon as it arrives, knowing compatibility issues.

yeah, before i had a crappy psu so thought that was the problem, so had to wait on new psu, to try again and turns out it wasn't that, but now that i know i got a decent psu, it will help things better.

Crap, I missed you previous post. No so many users here know about compatibility issues between latest GPU and Dell PCs, actually I have seen only one user like me, pushing Sapphire in every advice, but that user did not provide any explanation on his/her choice.
I got to know this problem a few years back, it was GTX 680 incompatibility issues, that when it started.
I even posted a thread about a week ago regarding this issue, guess what, no one is participating http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2755310/dual-uefi-legacy-bios-video-cards.html and users are getting in your shoes right and left, just caught one post today, could be you number 2. Asked Dell forum connections, no one really knows, only by trial and error.....
