hi, my cpu i5-4670k, gpu - zotac 1050ti mini, mobo- gigabyte z87x-ud3h, bios version F10b, psu corsair cs650m , ram 4x4gb @1600 mhz, windows10, cabinet cooler master haf 912,

now i wanted to upgrade my gpu to gigabyte Radeon™ RX 5600 XT GAMING OC 6G . but i was wondering if it will fit to motherboard. cause in my uploaded picture- View: https://i.imgur.com/o946zNz.jpg
u can see a heatsink of motherboard is too close to my gpu zotac 1050ti mini . please help me out.
i cant decide if there's still place for larger gpu , cause of 2 reasons -
  1. i dont know how much more lenth new gpu gonna have than my current gpu.
  2. if the new gpu can go over the heatsink without touching it
  3. think the new gpu deffinately gonna cross the heatsink, but can it go over the heatsink? how much free space new gpu gonna have between the gpu and motherboard after leaving pcie slot? i mean how high the gpu is from motherboard after pcie slot, is it as same as zotac 1050ti mini?

Is there still space for a longer gpu to fit there? Because if theres not then its not possible the normal way.
You can still get a riser cable and that way it wont hit the mb heatsink.

Or just buy a new motherboard and save yourself from future problems that might occur.

Most gpu's leave a 2-4mm room after putting it in the pcie slot.

The particular model of the RX 5600XT you said is 11inches or 28cm in lenght.
Around 50% bigger than your 1050Ti that you now have.
thank you for replying, so the new gpu deffinately gonna cross the heatsink, but can it go over the heatsink? how much free space new gpu gonna have between the gpu and motherboard after leaving pcie slot? i mean how high the gpu is from motherboard after pcie slot, is it as same as zotac 1050ti mini?

Yes it'll most likely have the same space as your current gpu has inbetween the heatsink and the gpu.
When it comes to the spacing between the heatsink and the gpu, i think there should be some space inbetween but you do not need that much as that heatsink in that spot doesnt heat up that much so it shouldnt be an issue as long as the new gpu fits.

I do not know the diameters of the heatsink so its hard to tell if the new gpu will fit or not but you can most likely eye it out with your current gpu still in place.

i just saw many builds with this motherboard using long gpus like gtx 1080ti,1060 etc in here- https://pcpartpicker.com/builds/by_part/YF7wrH . if gtx 1080ti can fit there then rx 5600xt will fit too right?
