hi
i have ordered a P4 2.8GHz processor and a a new radeon 9800PRO(to replace my old onw which suddenly decided 2 stop working). i have a 280w PSU and im not sure if it will take the 2 new components which im buying, i will only have this psu for a couple of days as im buying a new 450w one.

If you have a decent 280 watt power supply it should be able to handle, you will be close to it's limit, but since its only for a coupe of day, you should be alright.

It's probably fine, but just remember each device running is going to eat watts, so I wouldn't have two cd-roms, 10 fans, three hard drives, and such all going at once and you should be fine.

If your 280W power supply is old, it probably doesn't have the square 4-pin "ATX 12v" power connection, which powers the CPU VRM on the motherboard.

Actually I believe my motherboard came with an adapter for this, just in case it was needed.
