I have an idea to built up pc with ASUS Z-390-H and i5-9600KF. My question - will the BIOS boot to update by myself using flash drive or I need to take MB to service center for use 8th generation of CPU (i5-8600 for example). Saw posts here that windows wouldn't boot, but I don`t understand - BIOS will boot or not? Perhaps someone has experience with this build.

The Z390 motherboards support the 9th gen Intel CPU's so there should be no issue. That being said the KF series CPU's don't have a iGPU so you need a dedicated graphics card to have a display.
