Will the Corsair 600CX work for my needs?

Hello all,

I finally settled on all the PC parts for my second build and right now am only really worried about which PSU will fit not only my needs but also my budget.

I was told that I should aim for a 600w PSU and Corsair 600CX looks to fit my needs but I figured I should ask the experts here first because PSUs seem pretty crazy to me and it's hard to get a definitive read on which is good or bad unless you follow PSUs and the manufactures.

Here are the parts I'm going to be buying (minus a LG DVD burner which I already own)

Well, for the most part I think I'll be staying with the same parts for about a year or so but I do have interest in unlocking the 4th core on the processor (if possible, I mean) and MAYBE some overclocking. Will I have any issue in those areas? Because if so then I'll probably avoid that until I can get a much larger PSU.

You will be fine with overclocking even if you upgrade to more powerful GPU.

Cool. How much of an upgrade to the GPU can I get away with without needing a larger PSU?

The specs on the 600CX meets more than the manufacturers requirement for HD6970 and GTX570!
