I want to buy this ram, because it fits my needs and local retailer: https://www.gskill.com/qvl/165/168/1536228574/F4-3200C16Q-64GTZSK-Qvl

But I want to pair it with my z390 gigabyte designare motherboard: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z390-DESIGNARE-rev-10#kf

G.skill's website only verifies the ram for z370, but I would guess that's just because they haven't updated it, yet when I sent them a gmail they said they couldn't confirm compatibility if it is not on the verified list. That looked like an automated response though, so it doesn't really help me. Does anyone here see any reason why this ram wouldn't work optimally with my motherboard?

Edit: Their website also has this ram, which to me seems like the exact same sticks, but with different colors and higher mhz: https://www.gskill.com/product/165/...DDR4-3733MHz-CL17-19-19-39-1.35V64GB-(4x16GB)

the QVL is only a list of the modules the board maker had ON-HAND to test with, this ensures broad compatibility. the list is especially important just after launch when the BIOS version is shiny and new. BIOS revisions have long since made these issues non-issues. you should be just fine as said by others

it will work.

the only thing you have to look for with ram compatibility is the speed usually, that board will support ram up to 4133mhz or something like that. so 3200mhz ram is perfectly fine
