Very often when i move Windows volume slider e.g from 10% to 50%(by clicking), my headphones balance changes.
The weird thing is, in settings it is equal until i restart PC. After restarting i also see changes in settings.

Also because balance doesn't change in the settings at first -headset rebalances after changing volume again.

My headset is connected to the back, but when connecting to the front panel(or other PC), issue dissapears.

I'd like to know why it may be happening and is there a fix? (i doubt)

I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. I can get more info if needed.
Motherboard: MSI b660m a wifi
Headset: hyperx cloud 2
Thanks,

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? Check to see if your OS is pending any updates. As for your headset, se if uninstalling the USB driven soundcard from Device Manager and then rebooting the system helps change the issue.

Thanks for replying,
- I have latest bios version (7D43v1E),
- my windows 10 is fully updated
- i have already tried uninstalling headset from device meneger, reinstalling/downgrading headset firmware.
- My sound drivers are also up to date from motherboard site.
I honestly think that it's rather hardware issue of some sort.
