I have been trasnferring files from HDD's and I booted w/ my WinXP cd and deleted a partition on a storage drive and then created a new partition w/o installing WinXP. Rebooted and the drive is detected in BIOS but doens't show up in XP, in my computer or the device manager.

Any ideas on what I can do to get this drive to show up??

Unplug the hd, boot up, shutdown, plug hd back in, and boot up. Hopefully windows will find it/install it. For future reference you can manage partitions from disk managment in windows. I think it's better to use that on additional hard drives :)

Yep disk management is the best place to try to fix that type of thing if the reinstall didnt work. Also a very very handy tool is partition magic, it has saved me a fair few times in the past with similar types of problems.
