[SOLVED] windows update doesn't work !! windows 7

so I had a laptop with windows 10 insalled I decided to downgrade to windows 7 I updated the drivers and everything but now the windows update function doesn't work it it shows error code 80072EFE I ignored this problem and kept using windows 7 but many problems occured such as apps not working like "unity",I can't update my graphic card drivers and many more problems I wanted to ask before I reinstall windows 10 is there something I can do?

Windows 7 is EOL for more than a year so yeah, no updates.

i tried this solution but It didn't work unfortunately
everytime I install a KB file it says update not applicable to your machine

That is the only solution, I see. You could see if you can get an SP2 installation media to start with.

I think I'm going to go back for the windows10 I gave up
