I can boot my machine in Safe Mode with Networking, and everything seems to
be functional.
Microsoft Antispyware doesn't find anything in it's search (It does hang the
machine most nights when it runs on it's schedule)

My Antivirus software is updated, and doesn't find anything.

I have run a registry fix program, and while it found some stuff it doesn't
fix the problem. I also used Hijack this to look for questionable Registry
entries, but everything looked legit.

My error log says:

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
AmdK7
Fips

Anyone have any ideas what I can do? The Microsoft Website has no articles
on this error in their knowledge base.

Thanks for looking at this

Hi Sir toddo,

I had the exact same problem. Here is how I solved it:

1. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds (computer will turn off)
2. unplug the main power cable from wall socket. 3. Wait for 5 minutes. 4.
Start your computer. 5. When you see initial screen, tap F8 key. 6. When the
Windows Advanced Options menu is displayed, use the arrow keys to select
"Last Known Good Configuration" and then press ENTER. 7. Restart the computer.

Also, perform these steps: 1. Restart the system 2. At initial screen tap F1
key twice or thrice 3. This will take you to BIOS setup utility 4. Press F5
key to load the default values 5. Press F10 to save the changes and exit out
of BIOS

This could very well fix it.
