Hey guys I would like to know if there is a utility that can capture and/or
record the startup applications and processes of my OS. I think this would
be a very useful tool to have in trying to determine who or what process
application is taking the longest period of time to start. It would be
tremendous if this app could follow the process either from MS-DOS and/or
Windows signin. If there is such an app, please point me to it.

Thanks in advance. . . Tom Johnson

You'd probably be looking for the missing bootvis app that's no longer
available:

http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/system/sysperf/fastboot/default.mspx

However it's still available out there:

|MG| Free Download - BootVis 1.3.37.0:
