Question Work Headset not playing sound but otherwise works

Hi all,

Having a sudden issue with my work headset, a USB Plantronics C3220.

It was working fine a few days ago but now it is not playing sound, despite the microphone and led lights on the in-wire controller working fine. I can mute and unmute the mic (and then the corresponding sounds WILL play through the headset) but no PC sounds. When I press test in the Windows sound settings nothing also plays.

Thought it might be a device issue but sounds plays just fine on my personal laptop.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Work headset?

And not playing sound on your work PC?

More information needed.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

If work PC - have you checked with your employer's IT Support?
