Crysis on the Xbox is modded right from the hop they have changed it from it original version the way it was back in 07 on the PC but when you mod the PC version there is not contest which one is the better version plus I might add 60fps something the console version will never do.

I am not saying that it looks better on console.

It clearly looks better on PC.

The point is, they rebuilt Crysis in CryEngine3 (PC version is CryEngine2) so that it would run on consoles. The engine is more modern. Some things look better on the console version, seeing as how it's a more modern engine that is optimized way better.

But overall, the PC wins.

It is like this...

I would say Crysis on console is equal to Crysis on high settings with medium shaders and 720p. For a console...amazing.

I am also an avid PC gamer. But to me, Crysis 1 on console looks a whole lot closer to the PC version of Crysis 1 than Crysis 2 on console looks like the PC version of Crysis 2.

Crysis 2 with the DX11 patch, High-Res patch, MaLDo's Texture Mod, and Blackfire's Mod looks absolutely stunning. I mean...

...stunning.

My two cents: I haven't tried Witcher 2 with absolutely maxed settings, since my GTX 560 Ti struggled even with ubersampling turned off, but I can say: the graphics there are gorgeous. I dare to say it surpasses crysis 2, and it's the most beautiful game I've ever played.

Graphical Art Direction is amazing to me in the Witcher 2 and with Uber sampling on it looks much better than any game.

To be real honest I could really care less how good graphics are I like PC for Razer and Logitec ect high Dpi gaming grade mice and 60fps and it's the gameplay and story that impress me and draw me into a game Crysis is lame sauce as far as that goes. Right now I am playing Zelda: A link to the past on ZSNES Emulator for the first time and it's an amazing game all 16bits of it.

i could get crysis to run on a 8bit nintendo. 2x2 pixels. watch out world

my point is that just because it runs on console doesnt mean its on par with pc

its downtuned, and uses a lower resolution. the point is valid.

its cute you want to be a smartass about intelligence though. its not very likely you are as intelligent as i

I never said it was on par with PC. In fact, I said that it wasn't.

Here is how I feel the console version stacks up. This would be in 720p.

Keep in mind that Crysis doesn't have an Ultra setting. It has Low, Medium, High, and Very High.

Console version would be as follows (in my opinion)...

Texture Quality: Medium
Objects Quality: Ultra*
Shadows Quality: Medium
Physics Quality: Very High
Shaders Quality: Medium
Volumetric Effects Quality: High
Game Effects Quality: High
Post Processing: High
Particles Quality: Medium
Water Quality: Low
Sound quality: Medium
Motion Blur Quality: Very High

* better than PC

Overall, the PC is clearly the winner. But for a console, this is amazing.

Lastly, when ever you make the claim that you are smarter than someone else, be sure to use proper grammar. Just a little friendly advice...

Neither am I, for that matter.

Even so, using proper grammar is something that comes natural to me.

I don't exactly have to put forth any effort to spell words correctly, or use proper pronunciation.

Wouldn't that also be the case with you, seeing as how you're intellectually superior?

I guess not...

Anyway MOVING FORWARD >>>>>>>>>

Crysis 2 is the best graphic game ever when ran in full graphics it feels like u r watching a movie 😛
I ran it in full setting and wow the graphics was just mind blowing

I would have to say modded Crysis 1 on PC is the king for Graphics quality.
