Question Worse Results after Overclocking GPU?

hello,

i have overclocked my AMD Radeon RX 590 GPU with MSI Afterburner. I have done the tests with Heaven Benchmark.
The results were very interesting! When i was using the default Afterburner settings (or rather when not changing anything with Afterburner) i got much better results within heaven benchmark, than when i overclocked my gpu!

This was very surprising and i wonder why that is? shouldnt't the performance be much better when increasing the core clock and memory clock with afterburner (overclocking)?

Can someone explain this to me?

what temps are you reaching while in heavy use with the new settings?

whlie running heaven benchmark with my overclock settings i am raching temps around 60°C
